All about Percy
Rachel heard about a puppy that was born disabled, or special as we like to say.
This litter of puppies was taken for their first jabs and the vet wanted to put Percy down.
Originally, the lady whose dog had the litter, reached out to Winston's Wheels Charity 1191322 for advice on wheelchairs and looking after a disabled dog.
But, then she contacted Rachel to say she couldn’t do it and would she take him on.
Rachel hadn’t planned on adding to family but it was a no brainer. She collected him when he was old enough to leave him mum.
He was in a mini frame straight away, and even though he was small, he had big attitude.
He turns 3 this coming Wednesday.
When Rachel took him to the vet’s to register him, their opening line was - well he obviously won’t live a long life. He is 3 in March and we think we will have many, many more birthdays to come.
